An institution for premium and uniquely flavoured macaroons and chocolates. If there’s one place that should be on your radar then this it! French pastry chef and chocolatier Pierre Hermé is at the forefront of the artisan pastry and chocolate world and was even awarded World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2016.
If you’re a keen macaroon lover then you need to try the Infinment Citron Noir, Black lemon, or Caviar; Petrossian Caviar & Walnut Liqueur or the beautiful and delicate Datte and The Earl Grey; Date & Earl Grey Tea. For chocolate lovers there’s Infinment Chocolate Paineiras; Pure Origin Brazilian Dark Chocolate, Paineiras Plantation, Pistachio which was my personal fave. The Truffle blanche and noisette, white truffle and Roasted Piedmont Hazelnut Slivers was completely unique, distinct rich and full of umami flavours but completely moreish.
Other sweet treats that will have you hooked are the chocolate shortbread. There’s often a waitlist for these I’m advised along with the Florentines, both of which got the grandparent’s seal of approval, which counts for a lot in my household!
The chocolates in store needless to say excel themselves. If you an element of surprise in your treats then absolutely head here and indulge!
