GREY GOOSE – LE LOGIS
This summer Grey Goose are championing their Le Grand Fizz cocktail, a classic with an elderflower twist and added zest- It’s completely delicious might I add! This collaboration sets the challenge to concoct a brunch menu (that there will be tickets available for in August) that is sympathetic to each of the taste profiles; sweet, salty, sour, umami and bitter. I’ll be working with Dan Berger who heads up the bars and entire drinks menu at The Ned to pair both drinks (insane cocktails) with dishes that are to your preferred taste. We want this brunch to be both interactive, unique and specifically catered to the individuals taste profiles to achieve maximum enjoyment. Just to get things started and the introduce this concept we headed out to Le Logis near Bordeaux where I knocked up canapés that matched the taste profiles and Dan paired incredible cocktails. We also had the full run down and both cognac and vodka tasting by the creator of Grey Goose, François Thibault. Needless to say this was several days very well spent.
